A Theatre in the Parks production
In 2005 we presented the ultimate hero story, chronicling the adventures of Jason and his band of legendary heroes as they set sail on uncharted waters for Colchis in search of the magical Golden Fleece.
Incurring the Wrath of the Gods, our hero recruited his crew from the very first Olympic Games; built his famed Ship – the Argo; then battled many fabulous monsters and mythical beasts, from the 10ft Living-Statue Tallos, through the 3 headed Hydra and Winged Harpies to the Spectacular Finale battle with the legion of Skeleton warriors.
A particularly memorable show in Liverpool had the entire cast fighting in the pouring rain on a mud bank from hell; skeleton blade against Argonaut muscle and the audience with us every step of the way. If you were there – then you will surely remember the unique spectacle of it all!
We felt it was a suitably Epic tale for the open landscapes of two Merseyside Parks – Stadt Moers Park in Whiston and Otterspool Park in Liverpool.
